Willie Odell Porter

Willie Odell Porter was born on September 20, 1958, to the late David and Anna Dell Porter. Willie was called to glory on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at his residence. 

Willie attended the Marion County School system and was a graduate of Marion High School. He went to serve in the National Guard and received an honorable discharge. He worked many odd jobs and was there to help anyone who may have needed his help if he could. He also attended the Marion Adult Day Care Center where he loved going daily. He stayed on the go with his buddy Tierelle Hughes, where they often attended Pool Tournaments and many Spade games, and just hung out with the guys. H was always the life of the party.

Willie was preceded in death in addition to his parents, a brother: Bobby Porter.

Willie leaves to cherish his wonderful and cherished memories ~ his wife: Jeanette Porter; a daughter: Monica Porter Dixon both of Mullins, SC; six sisters: Dianne Felton of the home, Sandra Henderick, Brenda Porter, Julie Porter, Sheila Porter, and Goldar Porter; two brothers: Michael Porter of East Orange, NJ and Kenny Porter of North Carolina; four aunts; a dedicated niece and nephew: Taihessa Lee of Upper Marlboro, MD and Jason Fortune of Sellers, SC; dedicated sisters-n-laws: Denise Porter of East Orange, NJ and Michelle Ash of Sellers, SC a dedicated cousin: Chris (Cherelle) Felton and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins. other relatives and friends.
