Mary Margret Jackson was born on July 21, 1951 in Marlboro County to the late Augusta Jackson Brown and Samuel Champ Monroe. Mary Margret transitioned from her earthly life to her heavenly life Saturday, May 1, 2021 in McLeod Medical Center, Florence South Carolina.

Mary Margret attended Dillon County Schools, In the winter of 1980, Mary went to Gainsville, Florida she then returned to Latta in 2000. After returning home she became a member of Weston Chapel AME Church. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Augusta Brown and Samuel Monroe Sr. Sister Mary Lee Brown Niece Patricia Jackson and a Great Nephew Rakeem Davis.

She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories: two brothers Thomas(Brenda) Brown; Hezekiah (Sarah) Brown Both of Marion South Carolina; two sisters Mary Jackson of Dillon South Carolina; Brozelia Brown of  Latta South Carolina. Special Nieces Barbara Washington of Marion South Carolina. Very Special friend  Gary McClellan of  Latta South Carolina. Adopted  daughter Tasha Savedge of Latta South Carolina. A host of cousin, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
