Evelyn Rebecca Brown

Evelyn Rebecca "Beck" Brown was born on April 2, 1957 in Dillon County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Harrison and Jessie Mae Brown. Beck entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Beck received her formal education in Dillon County Public Schools, Latta, South Carolina. She was a graduate of the class of 1975.

Beck was a faithful member of New Mt. Zion AME Church, Sellers, South Carolina. She served on the ushers board, missionary, and member of the "Voices." She had strong faith and belief in God. She worked at many sewing plants, Russell Stover Candies in Marion, South Carolina and worked until her health failed. Beck enjoyed spending time with her family and always had a smile and very easy going.

She was preceded in death along with her parents; her grandparents; a brother: Clarence Walker, Jr.; a niece: Sarita Brown; special cousin: Janice Harrison Ghrain; god-sister: Mary Myers.

Evelyn leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories ~ her sons: Derrick Brown of Mullins, SC, Tyson Brown of Florence, SC, Clinton Brown of Latta, SC; a grand-daughter: Kierra Warren; a great grand: Shawn Warren; three sisters: Priscilla Brown of Florence, SC, Sharron (Daryl) Crowner of Marion, SC, Linda (Corey) Wilson of Winston Salem, NC; five brothers: James Brown, Jerry Brown, Johnny Walker, Michael Walker all of Philadelphia, PA, Christopher (Cheryl) Harrison of Dillon, SC; two special friends: Emma and Beverly Horn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
