W alter L evern B rown , affectionately known as "Meat Head" or "Buddy" was born on January 31, 1963 to the late Cleveland Brown and Minnie R. Green at Wanye Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, North Carolina. God sent his angles to take him home on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at McLeod Hospice House Florence, South Carolina.
Buddy was educated in the public schools of Marlboro and Dillon Counties.
Buddy worked numerous of jobs cooking to supervisor, but the one he was the proudest of was the most recent one as a professional truck driver. He also loved being an uncle. He never had kids of his own, but his nieces and nephews were his heart.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memories ~ his sisters: Barbara Reaves White of Latta, SC and Melody (Richard) Walker of Fayetteville, N.C.; three nieces: Lakisha (Christopher) Reaves Page of Latta, SC, Tina Danielle Brown of Fayetteville, NC, and Latanya Quantina Brown of Florence, SC; ten great nieces and nephews: Ke'Osha, La'Kiyah, Ke'Nasia, Arianna, Anthony, Emmanuel, Ke'Nyah, Dalieyah, Aniya, and Kristopher; one great great nephew: Teigan Mo'Chard Lloyd; one aunt: Helen Johnson of Goldsboro, NC; three uncles: Henry (Rebecca) Reaves of Brooklyn, NY, Charlie "Jack" Reaves of Newark, NJ and Willie Evans (Veronica) Reaves of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of cousins whom he loved dearly, other relatives and friends.
