V ictoria L . D eBerry (Vickie Dee) was born to the late Rosa Lee Reaves DeBerry and John James DeBerry Jr. DeBerry on September 19, 1961 and departed her life on September 18, 2020 in the McLeod Medical Center Florence, South Carolina after a brief illness.

Vickie was a 1979 graduate of Latta High School where she excelled in Basketball and Softball. After graduating from high school, Vickie continued playing one of the sports she loved, softball. Because of her passion for the sport Vickie joined and played semi-pro softball with a local softball league.

Having a belief in our savior Jesus Christ, Vickie joined St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she was a member of the William Walker Mass Choir. To know her was to love her. Her beautiful smile, friendliness, laughter, and willingness to assist anyone was adored by everyone she encountered.

Vickie was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Lee Reaves DeBerry, father; James DeBerry, brother; Myron DeBerry, sisters; Enda L. DeBerry and Angela DeBerry, grandmothers; Enda DeBerry and Pearline Reaves.

Vickie leaves to cherish precious memories two children, son Mr. Christopher DeBerry (Estelle), daughter Crystal Alford (Javon) both of Latta, South Carolina. Two sisters; Ms. Linda L. Reaves, and Mrs. Bridgette Davis (Ron) all of Latta, South Carolina, and Mrs. Peggy Lewis of Mullins, South Carolina. Four brothers; Mr. James F.
