Thomas McRae, Jr. better known as "Tom Jr" was born on July 31, 1939 to the late Magdalene Sellers-McRae and Thomas McRae, Sr. Thomas McRae, Jr . was the husband of the late Lugenia McRae. He was born in Dillon County, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Faith Health Center, Florence South Carolina.

Tom, Jr. had three decease brothers and two sisters: Lawerence McRae, Ellison McRae, William Ray McRae Shirley McRae Rice, and Pearlie Lee McRae.

Tom, Jr . leaves to cherish fond memories ~ JoAnn McRae-Albritton, James Clyde McRae both of Kinston, NC, Cora Lee McRae, Tommie McRae and Carrie Lee McRae all of Whiteville, NC; one aunt: Addie Jane McRae Hayes of Latta, SC; one sister-n-law: Dorothy C. White of Lillington, NC.

On February 21, 2020 his nieces Elnora, Deanna and sister-n-law Dot visit their uncle and brother-n-law. Tom, Jr. lean up and said grrrrrreat daaaay for the last time with tears rolling down his face. We believe our aunt Gal was there to welcome him home. Tom, Jr. has a special family he loved, his caregivers Mr. Marion and Mrs. Sylvia Baker; who was there from the beginning and to the end.
