John 3:16 Lucille Franklin Johnson was born December 8, 1931 in Sellers, South Carolina to the late Retha Franklin and Ben Cooper. She was called into eternal rest on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Carolina Hospital Systems, Florence, South Carolina. She attended Marion County public schools in Marion, South Carolina. Lucille was employed for many years as a domestic worker for many families in Latta, South Carolina. She was a faithful member of New Mt. Zion AME Church in Sellers, South Carolina and was a member of Shining Light Tent #10. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Mary Knowling and Hattie Moody; her beloved husband: Leon Johnson, Sr. and son: Leon "Leon Jr" Johnson, Jr. Lucille leaves to cherish fond and loving memories ~ her grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson and Keon Johnson both of Sellers, SC; two great grandchildren: Tylar Johnson and Logan Johnson both of Sellers, SC; a wonderful daughter-n-law: Evelyn Johnson of Sellers, SC; one sister-n-law: Julia Nichols of Marion, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
