Lordell Junior "Bobby" Porter was born on December 9, 1951 to the late Anna Delle and David Porter.

Bobby attended Marion County school system. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a truck driver with Cowan Systems throughout the rest of his days.

His favorite past time was playing basketball, pool and driving his truck as well as being known for his lively conversations.

On November 13, 2019 God called Bobby home to be with Him throughout eternity. Bobby was predeceased by his devoted friend Barbara Jean Jackson. He was a dedicated father, grandfather and friend to all.

Bobby leaves to cherish memory ~ a daughter: Taihessa (Jackson) Lee; two sons: Bobby and Dushaun Jackson; three brothers: Michael, Willie and Kenny Porter; six sisters: Dianne, Julia, Jessica (Hendrix), Golda (Fortune), Brenda (Turner) and Shelia (Brown); son-n-law: Raymond Lee; sister-n-law Denise Porter; nine grandchildren: Tamir (Pop), Tamia, Rayya, Ya'Jare, Asia, Adonis, Rikki, Sofia and Kihyanna; two great-grandchildren: Za;Rae and Ahlyis; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and his Cowan Systems, LLC Family.
