"Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted." II Corinthians 1:4 Kenneth David Wright Jr. , son of Lurdene Wright, and the late Kenneth Wright, Sr. was born on September 5, 1941 and departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 12, 2018. "Sunny" as he was affectionately called by family and friends was born and raised in Dillon County, South Carolina. "Sonny" attended Latimer School until he decided that his education was complete. Upon leaving school Sonny, moved and lived in Washington, DC for several years until his return to Latta, South Carolina. Upon his return to Latta, Sonny worked at Latimer School for a number  of years; later, he found employment with the South Carolina Highway Department. Sonny was raised in the church and served faithfully as a trustee at Weston Chapel AME Church until his recent health declined and he was no longer able to attend. Sonny is preceded in death by ~ his father: Kenneth Sr. and his sister: Lorraine. He leaves to cherish his memories ~ his mother: Lurdene Wright along with other relatives and friends.
