Hilda "Sis" Rogers was born to the late Francis "Frank" Fletcher and the late Novella McKennon Fletcher on April 5, 1929 in Little Rock, South Carolina. On Thursday, January 3, 2019, she departed this earthly life after a brief illness.

Hilda accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and joined Sellers Chapel Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health declined. One of he favorite sayings was, "The truth is the only thing that will stand." Her favorite song was, "If I Go Back Now, I Won't Get No Crown When Jesus Come." She lover her children but had a special love for her grands and great grands. Hilda was a hard-working woman. She was employed at Russell Stover Candies for thirty years. After she retired, she worked in home health care and assisted with nurturing her grands and great grands.

Hilda met and married the love of her life, James "Ruldolph" Rogers. He preceded her in death on August 1985. To this union, three children were born. She had two sons to precede her in death: George Faison, Jr. and Larry Faison; two sons-n-law, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Her sisters and brothers that have gone on to be with the Lord are Lizzy Fletcher, Louise F. Crawford, Mildred F. Ratley, Julia F. Gibbons, Rufus (Jim) Fletcher, Frank Fletcher, John Henry (Buddy) Fletcher and Vernon "Bubby" Fletcher.

Hilda leaves to cherish loving and fond memories ~ two daughters: Mildred McRae and Glenda Johnson both of Sellers, SC; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, nineteen great, great-grandchildren; a special son: Charlie McFadden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
