Gregory Lamont "G-Money" Bethea lived a kind life. Born on January 8, 2019 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Willie "Bee" McRae and Barbara Ann McRae. Gregory passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 surrounded by family at Memorial Regional Hospital in Florence, South Carolina.

He attended the Latta High School, Latta, South Carolina. To know Gregory was to love him.

Gregory was a jokester! He would make you so mad, but realistically, he would just be joking. He would always end his jokes with, "I love you!"

Gregory loved life and was always smiling. He would maintain a smile even during the darkest days.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father: Willie "Bee" McRae; two grandmothers; two grandfathers; seven uncles; two aunts and one niece.

Gregory leaves to cherish his fond memories ~ his wife: Carolyn L. Bethea of Latta, SC; four children: Daquan Legette, Jaheim Bethea, Ny'Keria Bethea and Hy'Shawn Williams all of Dillon, SC; his mother: Barbara Ann McRae of Dillon, SC; two sisters: Shamona Bethea and Tameka Bethea both of Dillon, SC; two brothers:Willie Bethea and Jessie Bethea both of Dillon, SC; seven nieces: Ka'Dashia Lewis, Ty'Nashia Lewis, Sha'Wayneshia Grice, Rhianna Bethea, Has'Meshia Bethea, Bella Bethea and Jalayza Bethea; one nephew: Julez Bethea of Dillon, SC; ten aunts: Mary Lou McRae, Mary Frances McRae, Ida Williams of Latta, SC, Estella (James) Jennings, Alice (James) Manning and Neoma (Lenize) McCall of Dillon, SC, Gloria (Alfred) McCallum of Rowland, NC, JoAnn Pearson of Dadsden, Alabama, Fordie Mae Hayes of Trenton, NJ, Virginia (RC) Stackhouse of Newark, NJ; five uncles: Bud Kenny McRae, James Lee McRae, Richard McRae and Johnny McMillian of Latta, SC, Eugene (Darlene) Sparks of Dillon, SC and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
