Donnie Ray Burgess , affectionately known as "Uncle D" was born on October 4, 1964 to the late Alex and Katie Burgess. He was the baby boy, and know joins the late Wanda Birch, Junior Burgess and Roosvelt Burgess.

He leaves behind a loving wife: Ella May Burgess of the home; five sons: Adrian (Sue Jane) Monroe, Donnie Monroe, Donnie Lee Monroe (DJ), Jaheem Monroe (JaJa), and Raheem Monroe (RaRa); three daughters: Destiny Monroe (lil Mama), Desire Monroe (MaMa) and Monica Monroe; one brother: J. R. Burgess, two sisters-n-law: Stella Burgess and Gertrude Burgess; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
